Tom is wonderful at what he does. I had tried therapy with two other therapists before seeing him but never went past 1-2 sessions. With Tom, I saw him off and on for a year. He is warm and makes you feel comfortable. He is a good listener yet isn't afraid to suggest advice. He is practical and realistic, yet also empathetic and not cold at all. I think his years of experience in listening to so many different people has made him wise/realistic yet also kind/empathetic. I wish I still lived nearby so I could continue seeing him.

I went to Tom for years. If youre looking for someone who is caring, warm, real, and who makes you feel comfortable then he is the guy. He doesnt prod, but he doesnt just listen either. He speaks about himself too which is nice because most counselors just listen and ask all about you like youre being intimidated.

I’ve been taking my child here for several months now and have seen a marked change in his emotional regulation and self esteem. This Dr. has experience as a school counselor and communicates well with me. He incorporates play into his sessions and is easy to work with. I recommend Dr. Tom to anyone seeking help for their child.
