I had a wonderful experience here. The physician assistant who saw me and support staff were very friendly and helpful. They took great care of me. I would definitely come back here if need!

The overall environment is welcoming, friendly, clean, and positive. They even had some coffee for patients which was a nice touch!

I know everyone's experience is different. However, mine was excellent. I would definitely recommend going here if you are in the area. Wishing you as good of an experience as I had ?

Male patient visited urgent care in late 2022 for blood clots in urine and obstructed flow that had persisted on and off for over a week. Doc who saw him simply tested for infection, found nothing, and said to call primary if still an issue after a week and sent him home (WTH?). A day later more issues with obstruction and pain so got an urgent urologist appt. with HealthPartners clinic. They actually noted that it could possibly be cancer and should start with a check for bladder cancer. They did that right then in the office, found nothing so immediately scheduled an MRI for further testing. Turned out to be a VERY LARGE malignant mass that needed urgent surgery. About 1.5 weeks later patient had surgery to remove the entire kidney due to renal cancer!! Don't worry, Mayo - HealthPartners and Regions took care of it! Will never go to this Mayo clinic for anything again. (I'd give zero or .1 star if that would register.)

1. They sent my elderly neighbor home to die without giving him basic IV fluids, referral for hospice care, or oxygen. While there, the staff stated he was clearly dehydrated yet gave him no fluids. His oxygen was at 60% and they didn’t give him anything. The facts speak for themselves- I don’t even have to mention the neglect and incompetence this speaks of. They had no regard for this man’s pain.
2. They sent a resident back to the Assisted Living place I work with staples sticking out of his head and still bleeding!
3. Recently I was in the ER and watched how staff tried thermometer after the thermometer (3 total) until they found one that worked! How is it a world-renowned medical system doesn't make sure it's staff has a working thermometer?!

Patient was seen for slurred speech and high BP and no physician came in the room to explained what patient had and sent patient home and patient wasn't safe to drive and the physician didn't prescribe any medication. No one said anything about CT scan results. The neurologist was a telehealth and said patient didn't have TIA or stroke when we got the discharge papers well guess what it said patient did and still sent patient home with no medication. I questioned about getting patient medication and the physician said I don't prescribe medication and patient needs to contact primary for medication. The nurse didn't even go over discharge instructions but said are you ready to get out of here. I will be contacting the ER manager.
Dissatisfied with the service and this Mayo is not what there reputation is what it should be. If patient had a stroke while driving or heart attack I would've sued Mayo. Wake up Mayo!

My mother recently went to this hospital. Her blood pressure was in the 200s. She has a history of strokes and a head bleed. She did not know what the month was, and did not know what year it was. They allowed her to discharge herself against medical advice. My stepdad did not feel safe bringing her home, so they threaten to call the police and have my confused 75-year-old mother escorted off hospital property. She was then sent home and at 2 o’clock in the morning my mother fell and broke her ankle. She is currently in the ICU in Rochester. As a nurse, I am incredibly disappointed in the medical staff there. I will never have my mother go there again.

Everyone here is always friendly and kind from the phlebotomist to the receptionist to the doctors and nurses and other staff. I receive amazing care here and I will not go anywhere else. I drive over an hour just to see my doctor here. Thank you so much for listening to me and my concerns. I appreciate you more than you know.

It's hit or miss here, overall ER staff is fantastic with a few exceptions, GP doctors are usually very good, again with a few exceptions. I'm quite sure the same could be said of any medical institution. If you're unlucky enough to get one of the bad apples I'm sure they will allow you to change doctors but you need to speak up, My girlfriend chose to move her GP care to HCMC and solved that problem. Luck of the draw I guess.

Mayo is gone from comically bad to truly incompetent. I called a month ago to have a prescription refilled at my pharmacy. They called, they waited, they called, they waited, they called, they waited... For a month. Then I called myself. Now mind you I have empty bottles and an old prescription at my pharmacy. Mayo told me not only do I not have a current prescription for the antibiotic they prescribed, I have never taken it. I don't exactly know how you make a mistake that large let alone then try to gaslight your own patient. And to top it off the woman I spoke with was incredibly rude. So in the end even though every doctor in the world stresses the absolute important of finishing your antibiotics. Mayo health systems not only stands in the way of that possibility. They will gaslight you for daring to tell them that you can prove they're wrong.
