Dominic , the owner is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Price is right considered skilled craftsman doing the job.
Will no doubt go with him again with any more needs as he is also fast in turn around time and promise kept. Will recommend him to anyone needed a special task done.

Family Business, How can you not Love that!!
I needed some pins made for some equipment we have.
I called Domenick, described what I needed over the phone followed up with a sketch.
I just picked up the pins.

I walked in to this machine shop to have a custom bicycle caliper braket made. The proprietor Dominic was very helpful. It took several weeks as they are backlogged and very busy with big jobs. I was fine with that and waiting longer if need be. Nonetheless, after about 3 weeks he made the bracket. It works perfectly. It was exactly what I needed. They did a stellar job with it.

My only critique would be the final price. The owner and I initially agreed on $40-60. When I arrived to pick up the item, I was told it would cost $100.

Lastly, before leaving I was informed that going forward, they will no longer accept walk-ins and that any job they do agree to work on will have a $100 minimum charge or something to that effect.

I understand hourly rates and stuff. Regardless I believe its important for local businesses to be more open, willing, gracious and accommodating of servicing the general public(walk-ins) and not just working large contracts. Its always beneficial for any small business to stay in touch with and service the little guy in the community in which they are located.

If you need a one piece job done by Da Tool and Machine, just call in advance first. If they accept the work, they will do an exceptional job with it.

Couldn’t be happier with the service I was provided or the employees I dealt with. Not only were they helpful and friendly but extremely knowledgeable as well. Promised me a turn around time of around 24 hours and followed through, too. If I could rate them higher than 5 I would. I’ll be going back for sure
