We've used Dynamc, LLC for years during the ongoing process of automating our production floor at DENSO. Their prices are very reasonable considering what they provide. In general, we provided the concept and Dynamc did the up front R & D. Once the concept was proven Dynamc moved forward with the machine design. We then held a design review, fine tuned the design quickly and signed it off.
Dynamc then completed the fab, and component purchasing quickly. They had special relationships with fab houses that allowed them to push their work through quickly. Of course electronics, and especially automation elements, have been very difficult to procure lately, but they have had better success than most of our other automation suppliers. Often this required working with us to use alternate components. Also, in some cases we had a better relationship with a vendor, and could get the component quicker.
The point is that we wanted an automation supplier that would work closely with us to get the automation on the production floor, as soon as possible, so we could get the benefit. Dynamc communicated well, and worked through issues with transparency quickly.
Their strength is more on the mechanical side, but their operator interfaces, and safety systems were first class. Innovation is also important with an automation vendor, and Dynamc was able to come up with unique solutions often.
One thing I should add is that Dynamc's ongoing support is superior to any other vendor we use. If any problem came up on a piece of equipment on our floor, even machines they did not produce, they were very responsive and would visit our plant as soon as possible. There was never a time either when Dynamc had a share of responsibility, that they didn't fix the issue at no cost.
So overall, Dynamc has been a very strong automation supplier for us, after frankly kissing quite a few toads that were just that. I urge you to give them a project and allow them to show you what they can do.
