Having worked with families and teens in crisis for over 25 years as a pastor, I encountered many counselors from the "Dear Lord they're clueless!" to the "Thank God they're insightful!" varieties. When our family needed help, we interviewed many of the first type until we found Jessica. She is incredibly skilled, insightful and thorough. Her practice is appropriately named, as she works with clients toward successful SOLUTIONS... not endless verbal loops of rehashing and band-aiding the problems. Our family is thankful for her help and we happily recommend her to others need.

Jessica conducted a home study for us about 4 years ago. At the time, I did not agree with her report nor do I to this day. She states that my son's dad is a healthy individual and had trouble coping with the separation of having an intact family. That is not the case as I had informed her of stories that had happened which shows he is not a healthy individual. He has been in a relationship with his current girlfriend throughout the home study and to this day. They are very abusive to each other and in front of the kids. They have no doors in the house and numerous holes in the wall due to his temperament. He is emotional abusive. She did not consider any of the stories told on her home study which is taking with high regards in court. I would not recommend her for your home study. She follows questions that she had laid out and does not attempt to know the families. Also, she wore a very low cut shirt to the home study and a very tight skirt. Not your typical understanding counselor.

Jessica was really helpful with our nine year old son. She hoaned our parenting skills to better our relationship and parenting in dealing with a ADHD child.
