Insanely good selection of games. The owner is super nice and knowledgeable. I played at least 3 machines here that I've never seen before. Everything was in pretty good shape as well. I highly recommend this place after a Friday night Astros game!

What a great find in Houston. We had my son's birthday party at Joystix. Rented the entire place. The kids had an absolute blast. I also purchased a game from Charlie and had a great experience. Highly recommend checking out Joystix!

Must stop to play or buy...Very good collection well maintained.A must go too great collection of arcade n pinball and a few classics only found 2 machines in need amazing fun.Great owner Pac Fever at Eighteen Twenty to get your wristbands.2 Fridays a month 9pm - 2am or rental only .A repeat fir sure

We recently rented 2 games from Joystix for a large event. Joystix was amazing to work with throughout the entire process! Very friendly, easy to work with, and showed up when they said they would. I highly recommend Joystix for any events you have.

I would’ve left one star but I felt that would be unfair as I never even received service. I contacted Joystix with a request for a quote to rent a few games for an event. I knew it was last minute as my event was only a week away, but had seen good reviews so I figured I’d give them a try.

I called the main number and left a voicemail. Immediately I also sent a Facebook message and filled out their contact form on their website.

After not getting any reply for two days, I texted the number provided as the owners personal cell phone. He replied several hours later asking what games I was interested in and the event details. I quickly let him know.

Crickets. No reply.

I waited another day. Then tried to call him. He texted me back and said “I’ll call you back”. No call back, no further text.

With the event being 4 days away at this point, I settled on using another company. I’m glad that they were easy to communicate with and provided what we needed for our event.

For a company and owner who has been around as long as Joystix has, I’m not sure how they let this total lack of communication take place.

I really enjoyed my time here. Twice a month they open up their arcade showroom to the public for all you can play video games for only $15. It's connected to a bar, so you can have drinks with friends while you play hundreds of different full size arcade games. They have everything from classic arcade to modern games. When they first open the door, there's a very long line and it's extremely crowded in there, but as it gets later in the night, the crowd thins out and you can get a lot more play time in. I would suggest waiting out the crowd, it's worth it. Bring your friends and have a great time, I know I did!
