I've been numerous times and have won something every time only spending $5-$10. Maybe all the 1⭐️ reviews are just bad at it ? the staff is friendly and the prizes are sooo cute!

This place is a scam. I grew up in Asia, so claw machine is a weekly thing for me. The claw here is way to lose(worse I’ve ever seen in my life), I promise you it’s impossible to get anything unless you hit the amount that machine set (it doesn’t tell you), so no skill involved, just gambling.

Spent $15 consecutive tries on one machine that looks like a 50 cent merchandise. Still didn’t win it. The claw is rigged once it picks it up when it retracts it’s designed to drop it hard. Seen all other people at the store just donating money with 0 prize. Might as well just call the store a charity.

Coming from an experienced claw machine player, please don’t waste your money here ? Whenever you grab a prize, the machines are programmed to literally DROP THEM before they reach the chute, no matter how good of a grip you have on them. In these photos I had a solid grab on 3-4 prizes, and then the claw blatantly re-opened all the way to drop all of my prizes back into the machine. The empty claw then moved to the chute and opened again, dropping nothing in there This is such a clever tourist trap, your kids are totally gonna beg you to spend money here but just trust me when I say it’s a scam ? I spent 5 tries on this machine and I won absolutely NOTHING ? the prizes are super cute though !! In total I spent $10 (it’s $1 per token) and I still didn’t win anything at all ☹️

Absolute con. Avoid at all costs. You will just waste your money. I bought my little
Girl here today. I spent $60 on tokens. On maybe 25 times the claw had the toy in its mouth, the claw retracted and each machine clearly shakes the claw when it’s been grabbed. I noticed this across all the machines we played, no difference between prize weight or size. Also on another machine, where you stop a rotating pin that then presses down onto a clip that should dispense the item, on multiple times the pin and hammer aligned but didn’t press down all the way down to release the prize. On closer inspection you can see the prizes are tightly wedged in, past the hammer and the release. So even when you clearly have aligned correctly and even with release the price doesn’t move. I understand there has to be skill involved and mostly luck but these machines are clearly rigged to neither retrieved or dispense prizes. It’s a real shame, especially for kids. Please avoid and don’t get sucked in by the flashy lights and cute prizes. You won’t win and you’ll leave a sucker. This place blows.

Don't waste your money here it's a scam, most of the machines are rigged some claws don't close and some claw opens when it's about to drop the price into the shoot so you won't win. I asked for my money back girl working there was rude and told me "that's how they are".

First time going here. I was surprised by how fair everything was! Most machines are $1 for 1 play, and most of the machines are very fair. This is from someone who's played a LOT of ufo catchers in Tokyo, so I feel like I can say that. Very fun stop in little Tokyo.

The claw machines are set to weak. Spent $40 between the two of us, won one small object. Worse than Round 1

Skip the gambling allure, buy something from somewhere else, and feel great that you didn't toss money down the drain.

Scam
