They had me from the minute I walked in. I was greeted with a smile from a teenage young man -what an anomaly. Everyone who provided service was exceptionally kind.
And as far as the food is concerned, it was delicious. I had a Reuben sandwich with fries and coleslaw. I was halfway through the meal before deciding to click a pic. It’s not an appealing picture so don’t hold it against them.
Interestingly I had direct view into the kitchen area (Having worked in a kitchen before I know that’s where the truth about a restaurant is told). It was evident that the workers really cared about the quality of food and service they provide.
I’d love to come back and try some other dishes. My neighbor had a smoked pulled pork sandwich. It looked delicious.

Always a pleasant experience! This little local diner has delicious breakfast, pizza, and fried cod!!!! I can't comment on other items since these are my favorites. The fried fish is SOOOO GOOD. I couldn't wait to eat it, which is why the photo shows it half eaten.
Good place for kids, too. Who knew a little diner would have really great (made from scratch) pizza?!

We dined here for the first time and what a local gem! My family and I had a fantastic breakfast in this restaurant. Our server was new and great! The menu is quite extensive and we all got different Breakfast choices, and each one was delicious! We will definitely return and I would highly recommend Ma and Pop’s Country Kitchen. I didn’t take any photos, but my personal favorite was the mixed grill. They are very generous serving and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Really fast and friendly service. And the food was hot (not just warm) and tasted great! Was just a random stop. I had no idea the place existed - hidden gem. Lots folks inside, but I was seated right away. The wait staff was very attentive.

Delicious country cooking. Breakfast served all day. Both breakfast and lunch specials. Be sure to check them out. Enjoyed the meat loaf with mashed potatoes and corn. Steak and eggs also worth a nod. Portion sizes are generous.
Friendly staff. Place is small but people turnover is quick since they prepare meals fairly quickly. Cash suggested means of payment since they do add a surcharge to your check if you pay with a card.
One of the few places that still serves liver and onions. Take out is also available.

Everyone was extremely nice. I decided to give this place a try because it had high reviews. We had breakfast, and it was ok, we didn't get the cheese we asked for in both of our omelets. The home fries and hashbrowns were dry, and my toast was chewy and hard to pull apart, not toasted and crispy. It wasn't anything special and certainly not anything to write home about. It was crowded and small for as many customers as they shoved into one room. It felt like I was sitting on top of people, and I could hear everyone's conversations. Loud crowded, expensive, and messy with no uniform theme.

Fantastic cozy diner. Food was excellent. Wait staff was very attentive. We met one of the owners, and cook, very nice. We plan on coming back many times.
