Worst ever experience ever ! i went into hospital 11:00 pm left next at 2:00 . Late night staff were great. Next not so much Had to have my gallbladder removed it was important. They couldn't get me in there so have to take ambulance or get someone to Drive and say about ambulance. only take me there can't promise time it would be there .my friend that was there helped a lot try them to do something. Finally she had to dry me that was sad .will not be back

My portal in August, 2024 said to make an appointment in February, 2025. Called for appointment, schedule not open. Can't tell me when it will be open. Then got disconnected when they tried to transfer me to Patient Experience. Also on the portal it says I needed lab work with that appointment. Nearest lab that came up (on the portal to schedule) was 147 miles away when there is a Mayo laboratory about a half mile from my home and Mayo Clinic in Fairmont, MN. Very frustrating.

If I could give them negative stars I would. This clinic is probably one of the worst out there. I still do not understand how such a terrible place bought into a popular brand name such as Mayo. My last experience was the worst. They gave me antibiotics with no testing and no cause, then prescribed me Ibuprofen 800, a two week supply for pain that I had already been treating with ibuprofen (a medication that should not be used long term because of side effects) Then proceeded to tell me that because 1 surgeon couldn't "see" the issue, I should keep on my route of treatment. Mind you all the antibiotics and ibuprofen prescribed had been consumed with no refills given. They won't spend any time trying to figure out where the pain is coming from, and recommended I continue a treatment that doesn't exist. They just left me to suffer in pain. The people that work at Mayo in Fairmont are some of the least motivated, uncaring individuals I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I honestly wouldn't recommend this facility to my worst enemy. No one deserves to be treated like they don't matter and that is exactly what you'll experience at Mayo clinic in Fairmont.

Went into the ER for the first time after being with these guys for decades. Got sent to another “provider” because they lacked rooms. Then got balance billed. Now the finger pointing begins.

It’s pretty sad that you don’t care about your own paitients especially when they are not doing good and are all about the $$ and not for the paitients least with Boone county Iowa or story county and the other county of Polk county care about their clients from check ups on health and mental health services and all that stuff apple tree isn’t a very good dental place either I’m just saying and don’t worry I will be making a decision on moving back to the state I belong to is Iowa rant about you guys is over

Primary care physician always booked solid, told to go to urgent care or another provider constantly. How can i maintain good health getting tossed around like a ragdoll.
They are plenty nice in person but after that care is not their to priority.i feel like the medical system fails people. It's like a puppy mill. If ur not getting a typical annual check up, basically a child or elderly u slip thru the cracks. No building a raptor, no interest in patients unless it's basic and easy

Mayo hospital in Fairmont MN favors supplying a 61 yr old female seeking help for my intense shoulder, neck and left arm pain (my dominate side) 40 Opioids instead of an easy fix, with "Trigger Point Injections." Does that make sense to you? Oh, yeah, for my $ 75.00 dollar co-pay, I took home a lovely ice bag.
