Just tried setting up online account access and after entering all of the required personal information, I was asked a series of questions that are reportedly derived from a search of my SSN in public databases. The questions were an utterly ridiculous way to verify identity because I don't remember the exact model car I owned 35 years ago. I have created online accounts worth 100 times the amount in TRMS and I did so 100 times easier. However, the cherry on top is that I now am required to wait 7 days before I can try again to set up online access. I called the support line and was told that there was nothing they could do. What an absolute joke...!!!

I checked my statement and forgot to add a beneficiary and had never set up an account. Amanda was very patient, friendly and helpful while she guided me through the set up process. She made it very easy, and now I can rest knowing my son is set up as my beneficiary.

Amanda Rivera’s performance was truly exceptional and stellar when I contacted customer service. She adeptly showcased her skills, knowledge, and expertise in her field. Honestly, I encountered some unique situations, but Amanda Rivera was forthright, taking the time to explain details thoroughly. Amanda not only addressed all my inquiries comprehensively but also courteously placed me on a brief hold to gather any additional information I may need.

I found myself in a situation where resolution seemed impossible. Each time I reached out for assistance, I encountered a customer service representative who appeared to be having an exceptionally rough day, making it seem as an inconvenience. However, on one fortunate occasion, I tried one more time and was lucky enough to connect with Amanda Rivera. The level of customer service she provided was truly remarkable. I explained that had several questions but was always directed each to find the answers to my questions by logging into TMRS. However, I was experiencing difficulties logging into the TMRS website and had to repeatedly call for assistance. I continued to explain, that unfortunately each time I contacted customer service, I was directed to try something different and told to wait a few days. This cycle persisted for about three (3) weeks until I finally had the pleasure of speaking with Amanda Rivera and Sharif. Both of them made numerous attempts to ensure that I could successfully access the system. Thank you

Everyone that is in TMRS knows that it is the best pension system in the US. Shannon Lucero knows everything there is to know about the system and explains it in easy to understand terms. She is so personable that she connects with everyone in the room. She has presented just about every year at our Pre-Retirement seminar and I have 'fought' to keep her as our Regional Manager when she was reassigned to other regions in the past. Don't get me wrong, Anthony and Marin know their stuff too...but Shannon is the one for Lewisville as far as I am concerned.
Shannon is easy to get ahold of and answers any and all questions quickly - she is almost always available. I love that all of our employees can text or email her directly, anytime....and she encourages them to do so. TMRS is the biggest, best benefit that a municipality can offer and understanding how it works is vital.

I have always had good encounters with TMRS. Their personnel are always very friendly, professional and eager to help in any way possible. My most recent meeting was with Ida Gomez, and though I had never met her, we became fast friends, discussing retirement, cruising, and travel plans for the future. She had answers to every question I had, and this time I took my wife with me, so of course there were extra questions. They all got answered, and I walked away confident that my retirement plan is in place and moving the right direction.
